Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making Tidal AI usable for everyone.
Our commitment
Tidal AI is committed to making our platform accessible to people of all abilities. We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as the international standard for web accessibility.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time milestone. We treat accessibility issues with the same priority as functional bugs.
What we've done so far
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard. Visible focus indicators on every focusable control.
- Screen reader support: Semantic HTML throughout, ARIA labels on icon-only controls, live regions announcing dynamic content (build progress, form errors).
- Skip-to-content link on every page so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Reduced motion: Animations are disabled automatically when the operating system's "Reduce motion" preference is enabled.
- Form labels: Every form input has a visible label associated via
htmlFor/id, plus an autocomplete hint for password managers. - Modal focus management: Modals trap focus and return it to the trigger element on close.
- Color contrast: Body text and interactive elements target the WCAG AA 4.5:1 minimum.
Known limitations
We are continuously improving and we want to be honest about where we are:
- We have not yet completed a third-party WCAG 2.1 AA audit. Some content may not yet fully conform.
- AI-generated content (websites, marketing copy, ad creatives) is produced by our AI based on user input. Users are responsible for ensuring that content they publish using Tidal AI meets accessibility requirements applicable to their own business or website.
- Some third-party integrations (Stripe checkout, Sentry overlays, PostHog analytics widgets) follow those providers' own accessibility standards, which we do not control.
Report an accessibility issue
If something on Tidal AI isn't accessible to you, please tell us — we will treat it as a priority bug. Email brock@tidalai.app with:
- The page or feature that has the issue.
- The assistive technology you use (screen reader, magnifier, voice control, etc.), if any.
- What you were trying to do and what happened.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within one business day and to ship a fix within two weeks for in-scope issues.
Standards
This statement is informed by:
- WCAG 2.1 Level AA — the international standard for web accessibility.
- Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III — U.S. federal accessibility law applicable to places of public accommodation.
